Chasing a Dream

Many of leading Conservationist in India are always trilled to see a Tiger in any Protected Area in South India.

The Tigers of South India are very shy, sensitive and usually avoid human presence and also of the different terrain and habitat of South Indian forest , which makes the elusive cat more elusive then ever, I was doing my early morning Safari awareness Programme at Rajiv Gandhi National Park with the Support of Karnataka Forest Department and Wildlife Conservation Society( India) . I happened to see some kind of shilloute from a far, something walking in the middle of the Jeep Track on Bison Road, near Kallahalla Range. It was Huge Male Tiger, Though he looks old , but he was in Prime shape and had that grace and Majesty's which we usually associate with wonderful Species like Tiger. For most of us inside it was like a dream which had come true. And especially seeing in our State and in South India had made the moment even better. I Suddenly recalled a Quote from a book which i had read couple of days back called The way of Tiger By Dr Ullas Karanth, Dr Karanth in one of stories Quotes that when you see a Tiger its always like a Dream" . I think for me its was something special and Miraculous, which i will continue to remember and cherish throughout my life span.
